I have a 1996 limited 4runner. I want to build her up but I don't know where to start. Everything is stock, unfortunately.. I am looking into Bilstein and Daystar lifts. Nothing huge, just a few inches. I'd also like bigger tires.
This is my everyday vehicle, but I also go offroading frequently, so that is why I still want it relitively small.
    Recommendations or advice anyone?

From my experience BF Goodrich is sketchy for tires. Also skid plate, bumper sliders might be good idea. Snorkel is also pretty cool to do.

Wow...this is an old post someone revived. Since yesterday was Black Friday...did you get your lift? There were a ton of awesome deals! Heck, some are still going until Monday. Icon lift is 15% off now...great lift. Comfortable on road and great articulation off road.
