    Hello all,

My sister bought my niece a 01 runner that recently had the alignment done. Big O Tires charged her for a 4 wheel alignment (100 bucks)

I was under the impression that solid axles did not need alignments?

I know the rear suspension is a little different with the linkage and torsion bar.

Thank you for some clarification on this.

Solid Axle shouldn't need it, but isn't it good to check it anyways, just to make sure something isn't goofy?

I always recommend people get lifetime alignments for cars they plan on keeping a long time. I've had my car in 4 times into Firestone for alignments.

$100 is pretty reasonable for an alignment around here.
