Custom Fuse box/relay system

We all know that one dude who opens his hood and has wires running everywhere... I didn’t want to be “that guy”.

So to help me out, I made a mounting bracket, and attached a fuse/relay system to it, then ran all my wires. I tried to make it as clean as possible.
The only trouble I foresee in the future, my fuse panel not being waterproof.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a new fuse panel? Fuse box?

Looks good cept I don't like those relays.

I would prefer plug in style somehow mounted to your bracket. But thats just nit picking.

What gauge wire you using for the (+) and (-) it looks a little small but hard to tell just eyeballing it.

 

I think it looks pretty good. I've been thinking about something similar because I know I'll slowly be adding more demand to the electrical system. Right now it's just my CB so I went the quick route. Do you have any part numbers/links for the fuse box?

If you like your setup, one option would be to actually run it inside the vehicle so it is safe from water. You would obviously need longer lead from your main battery and any exterior wiring would need to exit the firewall, but no different than needed your switch leads to enter the firewall, but it's doable. I love the idea of the Spod, but can't stomach the price.

@Agent_Outside that is a hell of a setup. nicely done.

 

I am probably wrong, but I ran pretty think cabling, either 8 or 10 gage. Just went to my local parts store and get the cable.

 

I thought about placing it inside for water protection.... but that is with the premise I do not submerge lower than under the seats with “excellent” sealing with the doors .

The next thing I do is either make or purchase an actual water proof box to seal it in

I need schematics! Great video! You said you don’t have part numbers but anything you can send my way I would love to look into. Mine is temporary, I want a setup like yours!
