Don't go off-road much with my 4-Runner, but try to engage the 4WD on a regular basis, just to keep it reliable. Would be interested to know how often other members cycle their 4WD drive, especially on vehicles that don't go off-road much.

Once a month I cycle the center locker as well as L4 to make sure everything is working properly.

But ive had more issues with Locker not working over time then the 4WD not working. On my 1st Gen Tacoma when I first purchased it had locker problems had to take if off and test bench cycle it and replace the grease. The girl I bought it from NEVER used it. But as for my 4runner ive never had issues EVER. Probably cause I'm often on a trail. Works super easy to use when you do the Anytime locker mod.

2-3x a month lately. Don't actually need it 90% of the time, but whenever I hit dirt I throw it into 4hi. I really need to cycle the center diff and 4low more often, but Carmax paid for a brand new actuator before I took possession so it's not sticky at the moment.

    You get that snow Sean?

BTW, I hate snow unless it's Christmas eve or Christmas morning.

Soon enough we will. We typically get our first snowfall between Halloween and Tday.
Our mountains have been getting some snow though!
