I ordered a gallon of lanolin and I plan to apply it once it gets here. The jack stands I own have a concave design so I want to rest something that is more round in shape like an axle. Its not the first time I've put a car up but the last time I did was in a proper shop and it wasn't a 4runner. Any photos indicating safe jack stand points would be greatly appreciated.

Its my first time using jack stands so I'm chocking the wheels and putting concrete pavers under the elevated tires should the stands fail for some reason.

Hey Trekker, that’s a good question! Also, you don’t necessarily need to get your wheels off the ground in all instances. A good set of heavy duty ramps can get a high vehicle like 4 Runner up in the air safely to perform a lot of mundane tasks such as pressure washing and rustproofing.
