Question - I ordered the black parts from my dealership......the body shop said they need to be painted before install. Did you paint yours or install them straight from the parts shop?
    Thanks in advance.

Good info, friends. I decided to take mine to a body shop for professional painting....I wanted the bumper covers to match the heritage grill parts and thought a pro would do it best. It ended up being less than $500 total for both bumpers so I went for it. Will post pix when completed next week.

I’m no expert painter, but I know prep-work is important. I had did a light wet sand and washed with dish soap to wash off oils. I took my time and did several light coats. I waited about a hour between applications. When paint was wet it looked a little textured, but dried smooth. I had watch vid by Twisted Jake on YouTube and that’s how I found paint & motivation. I had painted front only, I was able to pickup an OEM TRD-Pro rear from a friend. I have the two together, so you can compare likeness. (Bottom pic, front was dirty. In FL we have LoveBug’s and paint holds up to weekly pressure washings)

Rear bumper does need to be removed to install the rear valence.

Much more of the clear/white clips on the rear bumper and no way to take all of them off with the bumper on like you can do with the front bumper.
