Trying to Buy a Lift Kit is a PITA

I am taking delivery of a 2020 ORP in a couple of weeks and am trying to purchase all of the mods in advance.

I have already purchased the following:
1) N-Fab step bars
2) Pro Grill
3) “Tail as Turn” harness kit
4) Sequential mirror turn signals
5) Meso puddle lights
6) Emblem overlays
7) Carista module
8) Cold air kit

I am now trying to purchase a lift kit. I have decided on a 3/2 setup with new UCAs (Bilstein 5100 and SPC) on 285/70/17. It seems that supply chain issues are still affecting every supplier I have contacted. Something is always on backorder. First, it was the UCAs on backorder. Now, the front springs and rear shocks are on back order. I’m trying to buy it all at once and from one supplier but that is not working out too well. Any ideas?

I still have to decide on wheels. I have narrowed it down to (2). TRD Pro wheels or Level 8 MK6. I like the FN FX Pro whee but those too are on backorder.

I will tint the windows and tail lamps, swap exhaust, swap exterior bulbs and interior bulbs, and add either a Sprint Booster or Pedal Commander once I take delivery.

I still need recommendations on a behind front bumper light bar and dash camera.

Considering a ridiculously loud train horn (for protestors that get in the street ... haha) but not sure yet.

I have ideas for storing an AR and shotgun in the cargo area but will have to wait until I take delivery of the truck to see what will work best.

I don’t think I have missed anything on my list but feel free to chime in with any other ideas.

 

Honestly the way things are now there will be tons of stuff back ordered. I know the feeling of wanting something now but I'd honestly wait for what you really want.

 

Yeah. I've been waiting for my lift kit for 2 months. The 285/70/17 tires that I bough have been sitting in the garage for the last month..

 

What’s your budget? I bought my entire suspension from @Crikeymike at Exit Offroad at a very modest price and he had it there in 3 days.

I do not have a specific budget. I have compared prices among Toytec, Wheeler’s, Summit, and Amazon and they are all pretty close to the same in price. I did find that I can order the shocks and control arms from Amazon and have them within a few days. I can order the front and rear springs and differential drop from Toytec and have within about a week or so.

Everything for the lift kit is ordered. Springs and differential drop from Toytec and Bilstein 5100s and SPC UCAs from Amazon. Everything should be here within about a week or so. Now if my 4Runner would just get here.

 

I wouldn't let a brand new $40k SUV anywhere near a protest. Have you seen ANY video of what happens to vehicles that try and get around these protests/riots?

The best course of action is to steer clear of these acts of violence and let those who can't control themselves destroy each other in the streets.

I have these handy for those who wish to destroy America and do me harm, should I be unable to avoid them...

Springs and differential drop arrived today from Toytec. UCAs arrived from Amazon. That was FAST! Will take the springs to be powder coated in TRD red on Tuesday. The shocks should be here mid-week. The boxes are stacking up in my garage. Now, if the truck would just get here ...
