    Hello everyone

I'm new and this is my first posting. I recently purchased a 2014 Toyota 4Runner SR5 and have access to a TRD Roof Rack. Now I know Toyota is picky about TRD accessories and can't get an answer but does anyone know if a 2019 TRD Roof Rack will work on my 2014 with no extra drilling?

    Thanks for everyone's time

I can't say for sure it will fit, but I believe they do, however I would suggest getting something else aftermarket. The TRD rack looks cool but the way it is designed isn't very practical compared to most other racks. If your getting it just so you have a place to tie down a box or some plywood or something it would probably be fine.

Ok, I was also looking at the Slimline II roof rack which is more cost wise. I basically need it for when I'm traveling and need the extra room using a carrier on top.

It depends what price I can get for both unless there's other options out there reasonably priced.

    Thanks

Roofracks are simply put, expensive. For what you are looking to use it for, depending on how your carrier mounts, the TRD rack would be fine. Im also pretty sure they use the same mounting that the standard 4Runner racks use so it should fit

The trd roof rack will fit. Just make sure you use the red roof rack install kit. It has special bolts and washers to avoid water leaking into the truck. I have the part numbers and pictures in my build thread.
