    coming soon
    Hey all,

I am in the process of purchasing my first 4Runner TRD Off Road with the Premium package. The factory threw TRD rims and some more aggressive tires for $1,300 added to the price.

Here is the rig I'm looking at

What are your thoughts on the Premium vs non-premium package, is it worth it? and are the TRD wheels they put on the truck worth the 1300 additional they added to the price?

    Thanks.

Hey vaporboy, congrats on your purchase and welcome from Canada! My 4 Runner is an ORP, and you arguably picked the best model. KDSS is a great feature on these trucks, imho, as well as a locking diff and ATRAC etc. TRD rims and better tires sounds like a good deal too. I had the dealer take off the car tires and put on K02s before I picked mine up, and then had to sell them myself. I like the TRD wheels, and they're probably the most popular wheels on here, but I've stayed with the stock OR wheels as they're wider, and have a little notched area in their design to protect the valve stem when off roading. I've broken a valve stem on a trail, so that feature speaks to me, haha. Is it a big deal, no. Enjoy a great machine!

Yes, premium is worth it. Imagine buying a truck for that much and then driving it and thinking that you don’t have the best because you decided to save a little bit. This one is really great, just buy it! I have same color and same wheels and I just love how it looks! Only suggestion is since it’s 2020 submit an offer on the lower side, maybe 41-42 and then negotiate from there.

Nice! I also say make an offer on the low side. You can always go up, but not down. :burnrubber:
