So the “thing with yellow fog lights”, yellow lighting is better in fog and snow because it does not reflect light as harshly as white light. That of course is subject to the individual preference, but you all that think white is better in fog and snow is crazy. JMHO.:duel:
And good luck with whatever modifications you do, making the 4Runner unique to you is half the fun of owning one, just ask my empty wallet.

I am really liking it. As others described - nose dive is gone and truck feels overall much more well planted. Body lean is greatly reduced and suspension is firmer without being harsh. Impressions from the install and inspecting the parts is that it is very well made - and , not mentioned nearly enough, is just how good their customer service is. This is really important to me as no product is perfect and when you encounter an issue customer service will make or break the deal... I haven’t had any issues per say, but was really impressed with how responsive the customer service is and you can really sense that they believe and take pride in their product.

I already have my new SCS wheels and my new Eibach springs waiting to go on my 2020 Pro. Now I can start saving up for my Bajadesigns off road lights for the front and some other lighting I’m looking at since I just paid off my Pro today.

Cleaned up the interior of the 4Runner a bit. I've owned this thing for nearly 2 years, and just discovered the rear center head rest is height adjustable too

    IMG_20200831_171228.jpg

Any tips on cleaning the headliner? I don't want to stain it with the dust I'm trying to get rid of.

For the headliner, I have found using spray foam vehicle carpet and upholstery cleaner, and the agitator on the cap, letting it dry, then vacuum with a clean vacuum upholstery nozzle.

Just got back from a little family road trip. Did a little bit of light offroading and yet I still managed to add another dent/scrape to the skid plate.

Oh boy does she ever love to drive.

    IMG_2751.jpg
This is my average fuel mileage over the last 2,561 km (1,591 miles). 10.5 l/100km is equal to 22.4 MPG!!!! I will admit I was on a long road trip to visit the inlaws so I decided to drive pretty slow, and it is running on summer gasoline. This will be short lived. For perspective the first 120k km (74.5k miles) I averaged 13.2 l/100km (17.8 MPG).

I did an oil change today and installed the new engine skid. Hopefully future oil changes will be easier.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
That sucks but think about how much more it sucks for the deer! Seriously, I'm glad you didn't get hurt.

I just retired and am actually looking to buy a 4th or 5th gen 4runner. Seems like prices for early 5th gen are close to some of the later 4th gen prices. I have a 16 Tacoma Sport rwd with only 25k miles that I plan on keeping. Need something for road travel monthly to our Florida property and need 4wd for the beach. Was looking at FJ Cruisers but 4runner is a much better value with the same drivetrain. Any pros or cons between 4th and 5th gen.

That was my goal before the pandemic crushed my business. Im trying to hang onto this as long as I can because I know what I will be driving once I let it go. Hoping my business rebounds in next 6 months or so. I probably should have sold it 2 months ago when I was offered $51K by dealerships. The problem was that was only if I traded it in. 2 months ago these Pros were like gold on the used car market. I’m thankful I’m doing better than a lot of people right now.

Sorry to here about your business. Sounds like it’s getting better for you. Things are bad every where. My company is also feeling it. Hopefully things will get better. I know what your saying about if you let it go you will miss having it.

moved my USB/AUX port to my glovebox and add a quick charger in its place. Everything was super easy except rerouting the wire to the glovebox and getting the blank out. It was just fiddly and I have fat fingers.

Do you have the part numbers for them? Mine are due and I plan to do the same. I like the look of the OEM arms over the replacement metal ones so inserts are the way to go for me.
