Has anyone had these problems with this unit? If I get one at salvage yard, will it happen again? Should I try to find a NOS? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much.

Mine is haunted, or I thought. Other members say that it is common for them to act like that, going on-off at will,no fan and cycle through windshield, vents, floor, windshield, vents, floor. I heard that they have repair services since this is a very common problem. Does yours still work well?
