    It's a long list...
I’m pretty confident that the reason they have The whole connect thing on the limited and pro has to do with the head unit and having JBL and some different programming in the unit. Other than that everything else in the system is the same. Still kinda lame that the lower trims don’t get it thought. Toyota needs to stop with the decontenting practice.

The only thing I want on the connect app is the remote start... I hope someone makes the app work on my 2020 ORP for the remote start :D

It seems hard to make a system that works on all devices. My Iphone 5 has issues connecting to some systems but not others. Toyota seems to be doing a lousy job dealing with these issues, software is half of owning a modern vehicle today and Toyota doesn't seem to have prepared their service centers well enough to handle issues.

Them saying they cant do anything about it is complete BS, they built the thing what do they mean they can fix it. The dealership should be able to fix anything that goes wrong on the vehicles they are currently selling.

Interesting conversation about so many people having radio issues. Does anyone know how to keep the radio on my 2018 Limited from automatically playing the songs on your iPhone? Every time I touch my radio it switches over to play songs on my phone. Even if I am listening to YouTube. Speaking of YouTube, do other people have issues with video and sound not matching up?

I am assuming that by saying not matching up you’re referring to being out of sync - if that’s the case it is a common instance when using Bluetooth as audio source. I’ve experience that across several different head units.

I understand Bluetooth sync issues but I have the same issue when I connect with a cable. I updated my Entune hoping that it would help but it did not. I noticed the Entune app on the app store shows Ratings and Reviews 1.5 out of 5 stars - 3.1K Ratings

At least on 2020s with Android auto its frustrating at times. Plugging in to the truck my phone will not stop opening and starting pandora. I'll get a few minutes of radio then pandora will randomly start and override my current source.

I have a 2020, so it's a different head unit than yours. But I've found that if I pick up my phone when it's connected to the USB cable and open an app that has audio, say a game, the system will automatically switch the audio source from the radio to my phone. I guess that kind of makes sense, since it seems like I'm picking my phone to be the new audio source. But it does mean that to put the radio back on I have to use the Audio button on the head unit, or scroll to Audio on the MultiInformation Display on the dash, to reselect the radio. Otherwise the system will start playing iTunes once I've closed the app I was briefly using on my phone.

Knock wood, I have not had the problem of the system routinely switching the audio source from the radio to my phone. It's only happened when I've basically prompted it to do so by using my phone while it's connected instead of just sticking with Apple CarPlay or other controls on the head unit.
