My 4runner has developed a non insignificant squeak whenever I turn the wheel. It sounds like a school swing set whenever I turn it just a bit. Is there any way to fix it without getting too technical? And what lubricant should I use if I do get access to the issue?

I would say there's nothing wrong with a little WD-40 or silicone spray.

Check your steering oil you could possibly be low. If not your steering belt could be going bad and would need to be replaced. It’s honestly an easy fix, just look up Timmy the toolman on YouTube he has a step by step on how to change it.

I tried lubricating the steering components that could of been causing the squeak but that did nothing about the squeak. I'll try checking the power steering fluid next.

Clutch pedal just started squeaking again :censored: a month after I replaced the bushings. My 4runner is apparently hell bent on making some sort of noise whether it be the door hinges, pedals, steering wheel, or power windows. Giving me no shortage of things to do during quarantine.

My clutch pedal squeaks occasionally and I just squirt some lube up near the spring and it goes away for about a year.

Belts squeak if they aren't tight. Didn't see any mention to tighten it.

But not sure they squeak like a "swing set".

I feel like its in the interior of the vehicle like right were by the steering wheel. I checked for rubbing and haven't seen anything, is there anything in the interior it could be coming from? I already checked by the rubber boots and sprayed WD40 on it.
