Truck looks clean inside and with body. The guys says everything is solid except for the rear stabilizer that needs re-welded. Just wondering how big of a fix is this and how serious of a problem could this be? Know I will need to knock on the frame all over with a hammer and screw driver but if that is the only bit that needs fixed is this a good price? Thanks!

Personally, I see a parts car. Once Toyota frames get that bad...it's bad news. I refuse to play with rust anymore. I know others will disagree.

*IF* that is the only rust issue...then, sure, it can be fixed. $2500 isn't too bad. I would check that thing over really carefully though. You need to look at the rust in the top rear shock mounts where water sits.

Here in NC, there are RUST FREE 3rd gen 2wd 4Runners for $2500 if you hunt. 4wd is substantially more though.

Thanks for reply. It's in southern Indiana so we don't have many issues with rust either. This one is 4wd is the only reason I am considering. Everything I'm finding similar that's 4wd is about double the money. Might go at least look at it and check it out. Buddy of mine is a pretty decent welder.
