Hello, I am looking for a 2000 4Runner, Base Model, 4 Cylinder, Catalytic Converter, FRONT. (SHOWN IN DIAGRAM, part#17410)
    THE DIAGMRA OF EXHAUST.jpg
I cannot find any Cat that is a direct with my manifold. Most of my searches consist of the single pipe, front Cat. Ofcourse there is the dealership that has this part, but I don't really plan on pulling out close to $1,200 out of my pocket.

I seen multiple types, but my manifold only accepts this type of Cat. The others are either single tubed, or the neck isnt long enough to reach from the bottom of the car to the top.

If you know where I could obtain this part for a cheaper-than-dealership price, that would be awesome!

Did you price it on-line? I use McGrorge Toyota. They drop 30% off the normal dealer price. That's still going to be a big chunk of change...

Also, the part number isn't 17410...that's the diagram number. The full part number would be longer and include that.

Why not buy a generic one close to the same length have a muffler shop cut the pipe off that mounts to the manifold and weld it to the new cat? Really all you need is the flange that mounts to the manifold. A good muffler shop should be able to make it work.
