    2016 4Runner SR5 - White
Just added a set of K02 tires - now plotting and planning for new wheels in a couple of months.
Good afternoon ~ I was advised to join a forum to help get ideas and recommendations/reviews as my husband and I start upgrading things on my mostly stock 2016 white 4Runner SR5. She is my daily driver, but we also want to be able to do some offroading - nothing too crazy, but definitely off the beaten path. I had K02 tires put on her today, and our next purchase will probably be new wheels, which is what I'm hoping to get some reviews and recommendations for. He has agreed to let me pick the color, and we pretty much agree on style. I've been looking at an overwhelming amount of wheels on tirerack.com, but seem to have found some that I like as far as appearance and color - I got stuck in the KMCs and these are the models I love:
XD Series XD829 Black Machined w/Dark Tint, XD820 Black Painted, XD825 Buck 25 Black Machined w/Dark Tint. Then, KM544 Black Machined w/Gray Tint.
I'd love any thoughts, recommendations on quality of the KMCs, and other recommended brands - midrange price for midrange offroading.
Thanks in advance for any and all input!! :)

    Welcome to the forum!

Good tires will get you pretty far in a 4runner. After that, skids and recovery gear are things to consider before lift/big tires, etc.

I would definitely invest in some recovery gear before anything major.

Welcome from Canada! Wheels are such a subjective choice. Buy what you love, but the best wheels are American made. Avoid Chinesium wheels. Btw, Toyota OR wheels are regularly sold on here for bargain basement prices and they are some of the best wheels you can get in terms of functionality. That’s why such choices are so subjective.
