These were shown at SEMA this year. Curious what the reviews will be. I’d like to have a set, wish you could make the DRLs amber

 

Not sure why everyone jizzes in their pants over aftermarket lights. Never seen a set that didn't look like ass.

 

I betcha they suck

 

Personally I like the look of LED DRLs, not saying I would pay $500 for a set but would like to see some real reviews

why don't these manufacturers post cutt-off pictures?

 

Hopefully it's better than morimotos. Aside from no light upfront to the sides, the distant cut off is not straight, has a bump out in the middle

check their ig, theres a few people with them already and the output is surprisingly good

As far as light output they are better. My stock headlights with morimoto hid kit has better light output than those junk morimoto led headlights.

I have them on my rig. I went with the PRO-Series all black Midnight edition. Love the overall look, sequential turn signal feature, light throw and cut off compared to the OEM projector headlights. I run HIDs for the low beams and LED’s for the high beams. Beware, The major downside is you have to remove the headlight assembly to adjust or remove the bulbs, which means removal of the front bumper. A major Pain in the AZZ if you have armor, winches, or whatever takes more work when taking off the bumper just to get to the bulbs. I would not recommend these headlights if bumper removal is a problem.

AlphaRex had a FB promo going on when they first came out (not sure if the promo is still valid) which brought the price down to around $450. I sold my OEM headlights for $200 so that put me around $250 in costs to upgrade to these AlphaRex PRO-Series. Keep note there are other version models also. The Nova series are LED and if there is a failure you can not replace the LEDs and would need to ship them to AlphaRex.

Those look pretty rad. Looks like the cutoff photos of the Nova's are pretty on point.

What resistors did you use? I am having the hyperflashing issue on my 2019

 

No worries, very helpful actually. I was reliveved to find this post after not seing this issues anywhere. Did you leave your bumper off until the resistors came in? Do you think you could install the resistors after the bumper has been reinstalled? About to go out and look at it agian and see if I can find a way to get access to them with the bumper installed. Have a feeling they best option is going to be just take the bumper off again.

 

I ended up just putting the bumper back on. Worst case it is pretty easy to take off so I'll just take it off again. Thanks again for the help! Was very relieved when I figured out I hadn't messaged something up some where.

 

Ahh I see. Yeah that does look doable with the bumper on, but I see what you are talking about with the right fit.

 

Hey guys. I just had my alpharex luxx series midnight headlights installed last week. So far so good. I love the look. But what do you guys mean having issues with hyperflashes? I just want to be on the look out in case I have the same issues. Thanks in advance!
