Hey, Im looking at a 1998 4Runner SR5. It has 225k on it. There are addicted off road front/rear bumpers and rock sliders, a smittybuilt winch, Detroit Locker Trutrac, K&N Airfilter, 2.5" suspension lift and a rocky mount cargo basket. It's sitting on 275/65/17 GY Duratrac's with a full size spare... It has had the timing belt, water pump, toytec coil over shocks, steering rack bushings, tranny flush and an alignment all done in the last 10k.... the guy is asking 8k for it. Is that way over priced? I know in the extras there is a couple grand there but don't want to get taken on the deal... thanks for any assistance.

seems extremely over priced. That would go for around 5500 here.

So even with those added extras it's too much?

Thanks for the input. I'll test drive either today or tomorrow.. Outside looks great! Will see how she drives and go from there.

How does yours drive on the HWY? This one felt much stiff at highway speeds. Also it seemed like my foot was to the floor on the gas pedal most of the time when accelerating and there wasn't great response.. I definitely like the look of it but just some concerns in how it drives on the highway as well as in the accelerating/power department. Any suggestions or words of advice? Thanks in advance!

I took my sway bars off so mines a little sway and loose at high speeds. Mine tends to pick up speed faster after about 50mph. Its a heavy truck for a 3.4L. Boxed frame, plus all that off road gear. 3.4L in my 4runner seems weak compared to my 3.4L in my 04 Tacoma. Great for off roading/rock crawling.
