I want to replace the gray bumpers on my 97 base 4runner with the chrome bumpers that came on the sr5 and limited models. I tried a parts yard today but they were asking 190$ for just the front one, which is just nuts.

I had my eye on the after market ones like this and this which both sell for less than what the part yard was asking for their 18+ year old used bumper. If anyone has any experience with the quality of these parts or anything similar it would be greatly appreciated.

Any suggestions for a high quality replacements aftermarket?

If you’re near Chicago I could give you mine later this month. I plan on putting on some steel bumpers. I’ll take off the front bumper sometime this month and back I’ll take off sometime in September.
