    Stock....for now
Hello! I recently purchased a 2013 4Runner limited with 70K miles. It's totally stock. I sold my 2011 Tundra TRD Offroad 4X4 5.7L with 90K miles to get this new vehicle.

I am a life long Toyota owner from my very first truck, the coveted 1985 Toyota Xtra Cab 4x4 with the 22R motor and solid front axle. Unfortunately it was stolen and I have missed it ever since.

I look forward to learning from this new community

Just saw your other post about the leaky strut and now see that you have a limited which makes more sense. Your 4runner has “xreas” which is basically a hydraulic system that levels out the 4runner dependent on the angle. Basically, you’re going to have a pretty expensive fix if you replace the leaky front struts with OEM parts, or you can get rid of the xreas system and go aftermarket for roughly the same cost and not worry about repairing the xreas system again down the road.

Welcome tot he forum OP! A caveat to the the XREAS system, that most people ended up replacing. A inexpensive suspension upgrade would be to grab a set of 3rd gen Tacoma Bilstein springs. Everything is a direct swap less the eye hole for the rear lower shocks. I have this set up on my 06 V8 and it does provide a bit of lift in the front and the whole used setup was under $200 (I also had rear FJ springs from long ago I used.)
total bummer about the 1st gen and hopefully you find a fix for your xreas!!
