Hi All, Just signed up after lurking around. So much incredible info on here. Greatly appreciated and looking forward to contributing as I get to know my new to me vehicle. I'll add pics. Some road rash and from what I've learned it needs to have the timing belt done. No service records for it and the person who sold it to me mentioned it. I'll probably do the fluids as well. 252K miles. Any other recommendations? Looking to use it as a driver locally and some camping in New England. Thank you all in advance!

Welcome to the forum!!! I may want to suggest cleaning the throttle body. I have about 200k on my 06 v8 and that thing has never been touched. Got better throttle response after cleaning. Also, check the transmission/torque converter. Those seemed to be the issues for me along the water pump and timing belt.

    best of luck!

Welcome! Aisin Timing Belt kit with water pump is the go to. Be careful where you source, reports of bootleg parts out there, not sure if it's affected these kits though. This can shed more light.
