Glad you did not have an accident and was able to keep it under control; these days I don’t even think there is enough state troopers out there to watch! Because it’s obvious that this jerk did not need to be driving at all!

20200719_231549.jpg 20200719_175824.jpg 20200719_175953.jpg Today I put back my "t-force" n-fab cargo basket. With 2 pups in the car we don't have much cargo space anymore, so we needed something for the roof. We also just bought a house so no Gobi for me for a while. Looks better then I thought it did before.
Also planning on adding additional fogs and ditch lights maybe next weekend. Had some hella fogs I never got to install on my old fj and some caliraised low profile ditch light arms. Will be the first time installing switched, one has a tap fuse, shouldn't be to hard with the meso fuse cover, but was wondering is you all had a suggestion which fuse to tap? One of my switched will be a USB charger. Got a great deal off Amazon for 3 switched. Lights are all inline fuses so no problem there.

Is there a write up on the install? This mod is on my to do list along with an inline filter.

Seen that on the "hitch" guessing the shackle is the same or 10,000 lbs. Didn't see the specs on the website. Just "jeep, suv and truck".

Took a trip out to Flagpole Knob in VA this past weekend, what a blast! (Excuse the poor picture quality and the pictures of the jeep :notsure: just trying to get the terrain)

A few spots on the trail required building up some rocks ramping up to the obstacle to avoid tearing off my bumpers or smacking my diff, but we were able to do it all without any body damage (not including trail rash, which I'm sure I'll find once I clean my rig). I did take a little chunk out of one of the steps on my predator steps, but I'm not worried about those. I know they're not legitimate sliders or anything, but they definitely protected

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Why was the Jeep's hood off? Looks like a nice trail.

Iron Mountain Resort in Dahlonega GA this weekend. Lots of camping, trails and an obstacle course. That is the clubhouse in the background.

Yes his hood was off, and if you look close, it's strapped to the top of his roof....... The road leading up to the trail was very steep and for some reason that idiot doesn't have an engine fan, he took it out. ...don't ask me why..#itsajeepthing I guess??? Anyway he took his hood off to prevent overheating. Surprising, he didn't have any issues for the rest of the day

I meant to say "WHY" was his hood off. I saw it on his roof, I wondered if something broke and he had to take it off and strap it on the roof. The real reason is pretty strange. Why the hell would anyone remove the fan and not replace it with an electric one or something?

Yea no kidding! He got an electric fan, but didn't put it in... the quickest answer to "why" is he's just an idiot. Said he didn't think he'd need it...oh and did I mention he drove down from NY like that!

Looks nice! I like the nfab racks. I'd love a full length Gobi, but the nfab's are definitely more practical.

What's "t-force"? Is that a variation of their typical rack?

T-force was a package gulf coast toyota offered in 2016. It was a premium SR5 with sun roof, nitto at tires, blacked out wheels, nfab rock sliders with steps, the nfab roof rock, and skid plate, blacked out emblems and front bumper, Painted fender flairs, and t-force black and red badges. Loved most of it except the skid plate which I replaced with a trd skid.
Would have preferred the basket be black too.

I think you would have to take out these 3 bolts that's covered by the plastic tabs (I popped one out on the right) , then that upper panel inside the glove compartment would come off. Then replacing it should be easy. Don't have the tools right now since I'm at work.

I vinyl wrapped my roof rack, nice little project after work today. 3M air release satin black vinyl.
4 end caps were taken off so the vinyl can reach the very ends and the caps go over to protect the edges.

It was pretty easy to work with, my first time. I cut the piece in half length wise and it comes out to 6in width. I then trim the length to about an inch longer than the bars.
Peeled off the backing and layed it down adhesive side up, slide it under the bar and carefully stick one end on the underside. Pull the other end, not too much, and stick to the other end on the underside.
I then work it up on the side, laying it smoothly, don't stretch too much only a little. After all the lengthwise of the side is done then I work the top side then inward towards the track.
Ran a razor along the inside track and trim the edges. Heat gun over the whole thing to really stick it down, the nice thing about air release is that any air bubbles will disappear like magic LOL.
The cross bar will still slide on top on the vinyl with no problems, just take it easy and don't rush it with sliding it around.

Here's another pic, I razored it right at the track edge, not inside because there's no way to get them to stick inside plus it would be too thick for the slider to work.

Next up are the gunmetal FnFx wheels.
