What’s y’all opinion on the better location of light bars that throw out the most light. Would getting a longer light bar across the roof rack illuminate more than having a shorter light bar in the front grill or brush/bull guard. Thanks

Just know that a roof mount lights are USELESS in bad weather, rain, snow, fog.

That answer right here has made my decision to go with light bar in front. Thanks!

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
On my 4Runner I have a Cali Raised Behind the grill mount and light bar:

    https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...32-led-light-bar-hidden-grille-brackets-combo

I will add some ditch lights and rear facing lights eventually.

I use my light bar every night on my dark private road.

Occasionally, I'll use it in the rain at night (illegally). In a hard to see driving rain, with the light bar on (illegal) it's like driving through a Walmart parking lot. Really is something else!
