Rear Spacer or taller coil??

    I have bilstein 5100's all around with fronts set at 2.5 and a 1 inch rear spacer. I have about 1/2 inch of forward rake. would like a bit more forward rake so when i have the back loaded it doesn't sag and create reverse rake. I was thinking of a 1.5 inch rear spacer or would a taller coil be better? Figure i would have a load of 350 pounds or so once 2 adults and gear loaded in back. which would be better to accommodate this type of load?

    Most guys would prefer to lift with springs. If it was a constant load, I would go with heavier springs. But, in your case, a taller spring should suffice.

    Another option to consider is a set of air bags. You can adjust firmness to the load you're carrying. Firestone makes some affordable setups.

    Bilstein seems to have 2 options for rear coils. Any difference between the two? Which one would be better? I wouldn't be carrying 300-400 lbs often

    I believe they have a 1" standard load lift coil, 1.5" standard load, and 1.5" heavy load coils. If you're on 1" spacers, you could switch to the 1.5" standard load coils and gain 1/2".

    With this set up and having 300-400lbs in back, would this sag or at most be level do you think.

    I couldn't say for sure. I went with heavy springs because I am always carrying extra weight. I have no idea how the regular load spring respond to being loaded down. I'm sure someone here might be able to answer that question.
