Just a curious question why some guys remove this fox suspension since it is a good suspension why not just add a spacer lift to it. Much cheaper.

I’m an agnostic on spacer lifts. If you need to add a small spacer to achieve something, it’s not a big deal. If you’re pushing an already marginal stock suspension by depending on it for 2-3”, you’re asking for disappointment. A small spacer on this suspension wouldn’t even be noticed, imho. It’s a judgement call.

I hope you eventually get your asking price, but in the mean time here is a little perspective...
I bought Bilstein 6112s (60mm body NOT 46mm) & 5160s and the Bilstein B12 lift spring for the rear, as well as Built Right (picture Total Chaos) uniball UCAs and I didn't spend $1750.00.

The stickers are worth at least $100.00 each

I know this is somewhat apples / oranges, but this package is half the cost of what guys in the Tundra world are paying (if they can even find them).

I'm new to the offroading/4Runner world... What exactly do spacers accomplish and whats the before and after in terms of performance? Is it just as aesthetic change or is there a real performance benefit?

Spacers simply sit on top of the suspension to provide more lift. Like duct taping extra soles to your shoes.

With this you lose some performance of your suspension, and sometimes make the ride quality not as good. What you gain is ride height/clearance at a cheap price.

Tons of people run spacers and are happy with them. I think it comes down to how heavy you plan to offroad.
