    Hello all,

I'm headed on vacation next week and a few buddies and I are interested in taking some kayaks. I have a 2017 TRD Pro with the stock roof bars (no crossbars).

What is the cheapest/easiest route/rack for me to get 2 kayaks 700 miles? I'm open to any ideas as I may purchase a kayak or two of my own down the line.

    Thanks in advance

Not sure what the turn around time but LFD makes individual crossbars that are 79 each I believe. It’s a modular system so check out if it would work for you!

I've stumbled across that name in some of my searches. They definitely look like something along the lines of what I probably need.

I might be too late to the game on ordering something, but it was a last minute thought.

    Thanks

LFD had fast shipping, and those are some sweet bars. I love mine.

For 2 kayaks we use Inno brackets and Inno 65" crossbars... 65" is huge but the extra overhang lets you load a kayak by yourself by lifting one end up onto the overhanging section and then lifting up the other end.

Inno is essentially Thule, cheaper. Very nice stuff. The 65" setup with modular brackets is around $300 at etrailer.com. They usually ship super fast so you may be able to get them before your trip.

But you can transport 2 on the factory crossbars. Stack them one on top of the other with the longer one on the bottom facing up and the shorter one on top upside down, lash them together front and rear, then lash them to the middle of the factory bars with good quality cam buckles front and rear.
