Need Rear Shocks

    what are good rear shocks for a 99 4runner? Dont want to lift just want to keep factory

    2" body lift, 2" suspension lift, prado snorkel, expedition roof rack, 24" led light bar, EGR delete, custom steel front bumper
    Sounds like you answered yourself in your question. Go OEM if they have worked for you so far.

    I replaced my old originals with new ones from the Toyota Dealer. They were pricey but gave exactly the same ride. I tried to find them from Tokico who makes them for Toyota but I didn't really find any.

    Shocks don't adjust ride height. Just the springs.

    I went with 5100 billys- the old one were really bad so not sure they were a good reference point, bu t I'm pretty much level now.

    Kept mine stock as well. Can’t remember brand, from AdvanceAuto. Originals weren’t bad but had 250k on’em. Why just the back? Front already good? I would do all four at once. And I would add a spacer to the rear if it sags? Mine does...:(

    Maybe pick up an OEM set for free. I had a set from my Tacoma with 1000 km on them that I “Sold” on Kijiji to the highest donation for someone’s local humane society. I remember they raised $125.
