It doesnt list how many amps it is, do you know? It only says 300 % more power for all of their alts.

Also where is your 2nd battery? Got any pictures of your setup? What tray did you use? Im wanting to do a dual battery setup and debating on a HO alternator.

Just got another amp. Sundown 2K watts, and a custom kerf ported box for 2 12's. Sundowns SA 12s will be here monday. Going to take the Digital design 10s out and go with the 12s... Nicer box, more cone area, more power.... But also need more electrical LOL

You should try the xenon depot extreme led kit. I put it in and am very impressed. Maybe 15 min total install time.

Anso. Fit and finish is nice but I'm an idiot. Trying to black out the runner and didn't really look at these until they showed up on the doorstep. Description says blacked out but reflectors still have chrome
    :angrygirl:
These will do till I can get the OE retrofit done. I know morimoto is blacked out but the lighting sucks

Hows the light throw/distance? That was my issue with the HID kit; the light was super bright and clear, but the distance wasn't there at all.

Would be nice to have a solid LED option, just for longevity. I've got the Genesis dual battery kit on order, and once that's in, I have a feeling that changing bulbs is going to become a huge PITA (at least based on pictures I've seen, it looks like it doesn't leave much space to work with behind the driver side headlight).

Led does not play well in a runner projector. Many long threads including picture proof that an H9 halagon gives more usable light

Yep, agree, that's what I've found as well. Would be nice for longevity, but not worth it for the poor performance. Unless someone can show to the contrary with a specific given setup; but everyone has a different opinion on what they want from a light. Some are just happy to have something that's super bright and white, but then the compromise is either a wall of darkness immediately following the cut off, or blinding/flashing all other oncoming traffic.

Pretty sure I'll be sticking with the H9's.

Do yourself a favor & leave a larger gap away from the edges. I made mine very thin on rear & made it a PITA to pull off. The stuff come off easy IF you have a decent size strip to pull on.

Looks good, how easy was it to peel off the overspray. I tried it and it kept peeling off in spots I didn’t want to peel off.

Yep easy to use. Maybe your prep work?:notsure:.
I'm not a painter & rattle cans usually get me in trouble (I tend it have to spray that One more layer & Bam RUNS city):facepalm::frustrated: When this sprays you can see the full spray pattern for consistency:yes:.It seems the larger the area to peel the better it works. The front was pretty easy except where it gets tight along the side. I have plastic "smoothing tools". I used the smallest one to get that tight area out. I taped too close along the top of the rear & that kept breaking as I pulled it off. Like I said I believe IF I left wider overspray area would've came off easy. Wish I would've not been so scared of runs!!

Yep it was as advertised & watching the video really made me comfortable "spray painting" my vehicle! I overkilled W/Masking/Paper on the front, but I wasn't sure how much over spray would occur. As you can see I cut back on the rear after seing how it worked on front:yes::cheers:

Yes, not all led are created equal. The beauty of the xenon depot extreme led is that you can adjust the angle of the led to get optimal lighting. I get the same sharp cut line like the stock bulbs too. I tested them against a halogen bulb and they go the exact same distance, just much brighter and clearer. They are pretty comparable to my old Touareg xenons.

here is a good review on HID planet

Here's a better review, I would suggest you read it and learn but I would be a hypocrite as I ignored it and spent way to much time trying to prove them wrong. Link to my failures including $1,100 buck replacements is also linked

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Looks good. Did you take the roof rack off?

Not sure what the output of the alternator is, searching the web, I get a few different answers. Anywhere from 200-240 amps. According to the controller for the National Luna smart solenoid, I am getting more output.

The battery box I am using is by Ruff Stuff Specialties based out of Northern California. Which took some fabricating since it is a universal tray. In hindsight, I wish I would have used the Rago Fabrication box since it looks like it mounts with "factory" mounting points and I have a bunch of Rago brackets.
    https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/ODDSNGL.html

1/0 gauge between the two batteries. Don't mind those two 4guage wires that are ziptied to the bracket, I was plumbing wires for my solar panel project.

Found some free time this weekend so I started a few projects (mostly plumbing wiring for solar and CB)
    1) Mounted my solar panel. Waiting on my Rago Fabrication modular storage panels so I can mount my Rich Solar 20Amp MPPT solar controller and finish up this project.
    Solar panel.jpg

    2) Mounted and grounded the Rago Fabrication CB Antenna mount, Firestik II 4' antenna and ran the Fire-ring cable. Will be mounting a Uniden Bearcat 980 to a Rago Fabrication modular center console panel. The SWR meter I ordered should be here on Wednesday, so no real rush to get the Uniden mounted.

Yes, the roof rack was easy to take off with a kit from Amazon designed for trim. From there it was just a couple of bolts, and boom! Disassembled.

I realized that I might not want them on all the time so now I have to figure out a switch option. Saw one on here not too long ago label "grill lights" so I will try to find it.

I don't have prime as we don't buy enough to justify the $$$. If I buy this alone the s&h is as much as shield.Need ideas to buy something to get free s&h. Thought bout mini jumper box. Went to start the HD & it wouldn't it's always on battery tender Jr. garage kept . Finally it started. It's OEM from new batt 2014. I will get a new Batt. for it & it's less$$$ to buy locally. also looking at new printer again Best Buy has WAY better price than Amazon by HUGE margin(Just have to wait till it is in stock, I guess W/CV-19 EVERYONE working from home & bought up all the printers). Can't complain this one is 10yrs old & a Co. I worked for bought it. Brother MFC-795CW I Just can't print, it's WiFi connected can control from comp, Scan. Have been in touch W/Brother just will not print for what ever reason, I hate to get rid of it cause I have 1 Cyan & 1 Blus ink jet cart, plus ones on it almost full.
Sorry got side tracked, heat stroke from cutting lawn, What to buy to go W/Sun Shade THAT I do use regulary when NOT in garage.
