New2me 4Runner frame bent??

    3DFA6188-CB88-45D1-B8DB-D7703B2DC693.jpg EBD7B3A9-8EBC-4B4A-8E31-D006B5B8AA6F.jpg I have a 1990 4 runner 4 door with a nicer body no rust I can see, I just got it to run and idle. I figure it’s worth putting money into.. anyways it has a dent in the front bumper mount really good. It didn’t move the frame rails. So can I just have it cut out and a new similar piece welded in place of it?? Or just deal with it? Or any better ideas? Thank you!!

    If you’ve got the tools and skills you might be able to handle that, maybe head to the Junkyard cut out what you need, replace and weld. But your gonna need to take everything back a bit and inspect, be sure nothing behind that is to far out of whack ya know.

    If the runner is that nice it’s worth saving, one thing I’ve noticed here at least in Vegas, the trucks get stripped pretty quick so getting what you need should be pretty exposed, easy to cut out.

    Hey Junkyard.jake, anything can be repaired with the will and the skill. However, I can see from the photo that the right frame rail has a twist compared to the left. Maybe nothing major. I’d give a go. 1990s are cool.

    Would be helpful with a better picture taken from the center, to compare sides.
