    Hello,

After purchasing my 4Runner for a few days, I noticed the dual exhaust was not supported very well. With 34" Nitto Tires and a body/3" inch, the exhaust rattles and recently took out the ABS wire on the rear passenger side. Any tips or pics anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Too much side to side play and the exhaust hits the frame at the back when going over speed bumps. Someone did a shitty job of welding a hook to the sheet metal on the bottom and attached the exhaust pipe with a band that's a piece of shit. The ABS wire got worn over time from the exhaust rubbing on it. Looks like I need to cut the exhaust pipe stands and re-weld them. Pain in the ass. Hope that makes sense?

Yeah they dont really make anything to fix your issue. Might be able to use this....depends on how fucked up your shit is.

As for the ABS, you can get your wire cutters and crimps and some wire and fix it yourself(only 2 wires) OR Hit up a scrap yard and try to find one. depending on where it got worn you can find Sections of the ABS system. OR you can go here and pay lots of money.

I buy parts from here all the time. OR use it for diagrams and part #s. Great place to go for information!

Thank you very much! Gonna befriend a welder today. Here's a pic of the hook the kid "welded" on to the bottom and connected to the pipe with a piece of rubber.
A '72 Land Cruiser? Wow. My old man had one of those. It was 3 on the Tree. I was the asshole who had to get out in the mud and lock the hubs. Nice ride!

Get some 3/8" rod and bend up your own hangers. Rubber isolators are available at parts stores.

Fixed it. Raised the exhaust and moved it 2 inches away from the ABS line. Thank you for the help!IMG_3373.jpg
