5th gen 4Runners in scenic locations

Quick afternoon trip up the mountain, weather is heating up

 

Some where outside in ColoRADo.

 

On recent fishing trip.

 

Not at all, it's a hard shell knock off, picked it up for a lot less than all those others and serves the same purpose in my own opinion and takes a beating through the brush

 

We drove in from Yuma AZ went out towards Indio back home to Nor Cal, you can even come in from San Diego

 

Coffee and Cookie break or I'm getting a ticket for not parking correctly

 

You should have tapped the first bike with your rear bumper so all the rest fell like dominos.......like that scene at the biker bar in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

 

In Miami last week for work. Stayed near AP. lots of T4R's down there!

 

That/He was funny!! 2nd to last doesn't have gas cap

 

Took a little trip and a long hike in Mt. Tamalpias today. Great road.

 

2 day trip to the Eastern Sierra. Easy off roading and some exploring.

 

Took a nice adventure tour doing some of the CABDR. First night set up camp at Kennedy Meadows and did a 6 mile hike on the PCT.



Day 2 was up to Lone Pine and then head through Alabama Hills and take a left across a creek after leaving the rocks. Took this doubletrack into Manzanar Cemetery.



My Off-Road GPS and custom cupholder mount actually worked well when in low 4, for following tracks I'd gathered online.



Up the 395 and part of 6 out of Bishop before crossing over to the mountain road up to Benton Hot Springs.



Just prior to Mono Lake took the turnoff to Milton Mills and 3.5 miles down a sandy road to the lake, Then left and 4.5 miles of narrowing bushes and soft sand towards Lee Vining. A few brush scrapes/Bush Tested.



Spent the night at Topaz Lake and the following morning headed home bwo Monitor and Ebbetts Passes. A really cool set of passes I'd not driven before.

 

Out for a quick drive up to Spada lake in WA. Not a technical trail, but nice to get out.

 

In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

 

Camping last weekend in Dotsero, Co. We went up Coffee Pot Rd and found this nice spot.

 

First off-road adventure for my 4Runner! Up some FSRs for a beauty hike

 

Crane Prairie Reservoir, Oregon with a boat trailer in tow.

 

Does this count? Best shot I've taken of the rig so far, at least until I finally start hitting some trails

 

Camping in Western NC, over the 4th of July weekend.

 

1st road trip in my 2020 SR5 to Florida....as in Florida,Massachusetts.
It's in the Berkshire Mountains in case you didn't know,and yes it was hot there

Are sliders and skids needed to drive this trail?

 

Depends on your comfort level and line selection. While I never hit my skids or sliders on this trail, I was sure glad to have them.
Was a real nice trail. I'll be back for sure.
