Just got a 18 4Runner SR5 and looking to lift and get ready for the snow season here in Truckee. Any recommendations for suspension, looking at Bilstein 6112 and 5100 as well as wheels and tires. Having problems with availability due to Corona caused back orders. Other recommendations?

I would get the 6112's over the 5100's. Better valving for our trucks.

You could also look into Eibach adjustable shocks. They ride really nice and are another great option for our truck. Contact them directly to see when things might be available again.

You might run into some back ordering issues for any good manufacturer right now as many are just coming back online. Be patient. You'll regret buying something cheaper just because it's available now.

I have 5100’s up front with Headstrong coils giving me 3” of lift and Fox 2.0 shocks in the rear with Icon coils for 2” of lift. I have no experience with 6112’s but I’m super happy with the lift.
Try Headstrong Off-Road, they have good prices and are super helpful if you have questions.

6112 on front, 5100 rears are a great choice.

I’d go with 6112’s and 5160s if you’re on a budget. Kings if you got the money. I’ve had both, kings are worth every penny.

I bought Bilstein 1500's from 4wheelonline because I do off road. These shocks are a bit stiff yet the ride is still ok. I have no experience with 6112s but people say that they are a little better and smoother on the road.
