Which models seat 5?

Hello ! I am new from Canada . I currently have a 2017 SR5 . My lease is almost up and now I am looking at the 2020 . I am looking specifically for a 5 seat model . Does anyone know which models the 5 seat option in available ? My local dealer is trying to tell me it is the venture model only and I am not sure that is correct . I cannot seem to find the info online anywhere .

Almost all of the 4runners are 5 seat models. I think you’d have to try really hard to not be able to find one.

 

5 seat is the one w/out third row.

 

OR and PRO aren't available with 3rd row so I guess that's your answer. Venture is essentially an OR so it also wouldn't have 3rd row. SR5 is available both ways. Dunno about Limited. Also dunno about Canada specs...

There are 3 seat belts in the back seat = you can have 5 belted people in a standard 4Runner.

 

I think the OP is looking for a non-third row model, as they all seat 5.

 

Correction Venture is a poor man's OR aka SR5 with visual additions but no rear locker or crawl control.

BTW to OP only the SR5 and Limited can be had with 3rd row.

 

actually the venture has all the feature as trd orp (option for kdss).

I would say it’s a poor mans trd pro.

Venture = OR with visual accessories + basket
Trail = SR5 with visual accessories + basket
Trail 2010-2015 = current OR

 

Are you suggesting that a trail is same as Sr5 w/ visual accessories + basket ?

The new / current Trail model is, yes. The former Trail, before it was called the TRD OR, is not. It gets confusing.

 

All trim levels are 5 seat. SR5/SR5 Premium and Limited can be optioned with a 3rd row to make them 7 seat.
