Yet another thing that took me a while to discover is that my 2020 4runner has a cigarette plug in the center console instead of regular wall connector like every other car that I had (if they had anything in the center console). I'm not sure whats the use of having 120V avail but no a wall connector but at this point it is what it is. How do you guys hook up regular electrical cables (laptop, camera charger etc...) that are 120V through the center console? I realize that I can run an extension form the rear but I'm trying to avoid that. I googled cable/converter that will allow me to do this to no avail.

I saw these types of inverters but don't these turn 12VDC to 120AC? The 4runner already does that. I just need a some kind of cable that goes from cig. plug to wall connector.

The center console cig. plug is not 120V AC - it's 12V 120W.

I've dicked with that switch and couldn't get it to light up for the life of me. Tried with the key in the on position, and with the engine running. Nada....
