The old lady's birthday is coming up and I was going to get a new grill for our third gen and also some aftermarket headlight housings. I like the look of retrofits but can't bring myself to pay that much for them. I've been looking at the Spec D housings. I like the look of Anzos but have heard they are junk. Anyone running aftermarket housings? If so what kind and have any pictures?
    Thanks in advance! Happy Friday:fistbump:

I ended up springing for Retrofits, they are a little pricy, but it's night and day difference compared to the stock headlights, even with nice halogen bulbs or LED's

Yup, made my own, haven't done an in depth write up... so here is a condensed version
Basically you have to put your headlight in the oven and pry it open, slap in the projector of your choice...some trimming might be required for fitment, and put it all back together, and wire it all up, and voila, you have projector lights!

Here is the bare bones and essentials that you NEED:
    1) Bixenon Projector 2.5 or 3 inch (I went with 3 inch) ~ $30
    2) Projector Shroud, some of the Amazon kits already have them, but morimoto has nicer ones.
    3) LEDs or HID's the size is going to be H1 for most of these aftermarket projectors
    4) H4 to H1 wiring harness (in LED case, HID requires more wiring I believe)
    5) Also Butyl Rubber is needed to reseal the headlight https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-In...1&keywords=butyl+rubber&qid=1591555076&sr=8-8

OPTIONAL (Here you can get creative and customize yours):
    1) (Optional) Halos, make sure you get right sizes in mm.
    2) Paint housings to your liking
    3) Demon eyes

Here is somewhat a close up...total price was about $140 ish, it could be cheaper too.
