A local classified ad for 4 black chevy wheels on good year Wrangler tires for 800.00 I thinks it's a very good deal . But I need to know are 6 lug chevy wheels a direct fit on a 3rd Gen 4runner? Thanks for the assistance.

Make sure the rim is also big enough to clear the brakes.

Wheels are 18's and tires are 265/65/18 does that help.

The bolt pattern is the same: 6 x 5.5” bolt circle, however it’s the center bore that’s usually the issue. The GM center bore is smaller(78mm)than Toyota(106mm)so be sure to measure the diameter of the bore. Also be aware that some wheels are hub-centric versus lug-centric.

    You’re welcome.

To build off this post a bit further:

If the bore size is 106.1mm the wheel will be hub centric for your 4Runner.

If the bore size is less than 106mm, it won’t fit/won’t work for you at all (which is likely going to be the case if it was a Chevy specific wheel).

If the bore size is larger than 106.1mm the wheel will fit, but will be lug centric. Meaning you’ll need to get conical seat acorn lug nuts to make sure the lugs will seat and secure the wheel properly. (You May need new lug nuts anyways, even if it’s hub centric; might need extended thread ones).

    I would not buy them.
