Engine replaced 6 years ago...not exact match but as close as I could get.
So this vehicle is not mine, I’m working on it for a friend. I’ve already run the major concern through my village of Toyota mechanics and the unanimous consensus is that it’s hydro locked...and I already know how to test for that, but what I don’t know is what size spark plug socket I need to pull the plugs. The engine is not original to the car, its a 3RZ-FE like my 2001 Camry was, but holy guacamole it’s got more hoses than a fancy New England home’s basement! So it’s not the same and I prefer to have the necessary tools on hand prior to starting a job so I’m really hoping one of you knows what plug socket size I need.

This is probably a stupid question...but for the past 5 years I’ve only worked on German cars...and nothing about them is streamlined so to me it’s a valid question.

I work on old American cars...and I just seem to remember the standard Spark Plug socket I have worked in the 4Runner.
