Where to buy restoration parts for Gen 1?

    Not really, and some parts are discontinued so you are stuck buying used.

    Real answer, no. Low range Offroad has some. Most of my replacement parts are scavenged from Craigslist and alike.

    ^ I concur with Jeff. The only place to get genuine Toyota parts(other than engine n suspension)is CL. Look for ‘part outs’. That’s where I’ve gotten seats, console, fenders, sidemarker lamps, and a windshield which came off an ‘86 Dolphin motorhome.

    Door handles you can get from other Toyotas like camry's around the same year but still used from the junk yard. I upgraded my plastic handles for metal chrome ones from a Camry or Cressida. The outer seal for the lift gate window you can replace with a 2nd gen 4runner.

    Buy a second truck when you don't need it and rob all the parts that are better then sell whats left. I feel dirty inside!
