    Hi all.
Over the past year my fuel gauge has dropped dead to zero a handful of times, maybe once every 2 months. I would notice it but next time it would be gone. I have been thinking to look at it for a while but never did. Now it is not going back to normal, so it’s time to look at it! Everything else works. I am trying to see if it is a fuse,so I pulled the 7.5A from the dashboard fuse box, but that wasn’t it. Then I saw the trip reset deal. I am not sure if that works on an ‘05. Also that little riddle is a bit confusing. I get kind of confused when it talks about the trip reset button at first, then It says the speedometer trip switch…
    Anyway, no luck there.
Does anyone have any idea? Thanks

Probably the float if the fuse is fine.

    Thanks Dillusion.
Could be, but it has been on and off for at least a year, only once in a while and when its dead, its just flat.
    Makes me think its electrical?
How can I check if it is the float?
