Hello! I’m new here! I just got a 4Runner! I was wondering how smooth the 2007 4runners drive once they have about 150k miles? Mine was smooth at first but now that I have gone 65+ in it, it seems a little tougher at times or wobbly. Almost shaky even. It sometimes seems to shake the steering wheel a bit. It’s not horrible or super easy to notice, but I don’t wanna have a problem and have it break down, especially since I just got it! Is this normal? Or does it just seem like it may need a tire alignment? Thank y’all!

Alignment, tire and wheel balancing and wheel bearings, brakes, suspension components, and steering components all play a factor in this rolling symphony of engineering. The mileage really has nothing to do with it, if the vehicle was maintained properly. Start with balancing and alignment and go from there. I think that if it was smooth at one time and now has an issue at a certain speed, it could very well be as simple as a balancing weight coming unglued and falling off. Does it want to pull to the right or left if you let go of the steering wheel, or under firm braking? Then it could be alignment. You could have a sticky brake cylinder that might cause this problem. Unfortunately you will have to learn about all this stuff to make an educated decision, or find a trustworthy shop to make it right without gouging your wallet. Good Luck and Welcome!

Mine was smooth as silk at 145k. Something definitely needs repaired. Good ideas above. Also consider driveshaft u joints.

Yes that's true, I forgot about that part of it. @AshleyandRob Is your truck a full time AWD? Meaning there is no selection for 2Hi, only a selector to go to 4Lo? You could have a front driveshaft U joint causing a vibration in your steering wheel or a front CV axle could be going bad as well. Both of these scenarios could transfer vibrations in the steering wheel. Lots of variables unfortunately. Also, if your truck is 2wd only then it is most likely one of the first problems I mentioned in my earlier post. @Benny123 Thank You!
