Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
Eh, once they give their deposition in court, they'll probably change their tune. For me a number of years ago, it was serious injury before it went to court but then the guy said under oath that he only missed one day of work, and the damage in my accident was waaaaaaaay worse than what your pics show.

Ever been in an accident before? The post-accident legal stuff is more scary than it seems. You might not even have to go to court. I didn't. The costs will be what the costs will be, though.

I’m certainly not worried. Just pissed off with the bullshit. The driver chick was most definitely just fine. The passenger chick was chilled in her seat, fucking around on her phone like nothing happened.

I do have dash cam video I sent to my insurance lady as well

I'm not going to say these girls are telling the truth because the damage looks pretty minimal, but often times whiplash injuries aren't noticeable right away and can still happen at slow speeds.

My wife was in an accident where she was rear ended (way worse than this accident). She felt fine after the crash, but it was all the adrenaline that prevented her from noticing a pretty significant neck injury. It wasn't until the next morning when she woke up that she noticed it and it took a few months for her to feel normal again.

It's possible that they might actually be hurt, but that's why you have insurance. Just let them do their job and try not to get frustrated over it.

But I feel your pain. It's a shitty situation all around.

I definitely agree with this. I have pretty extensive experience with a major accident involving catastrophic injuries. It’s best to stay out of it, and let the professionals deal with it. That’s why you have insurance. It’s expensive, so when you need it, don’t hesitate to use it.

Updated estimate is just under $5k. At this point will probably just let them do their thing and get it fixed. Upgrade on my own dime. Hopefully get it back by next Friday.

15mph can put a world of hurt on you even if you think its slow.

Got rear ended prolly around the same speed before. I felt find all that day/night. When I woke up it literally felt like I got run over.

I think y’all aren’t realizing she was merely swiped. Her vehicle had no impact. Video shows enough

Contact is contact doesn't matter how hard you think you hit them honestly. Just let your insurance handle it. Video won't do you no good if they get any note from a doctor saying they were injured.

Unless its to prove you didn't hit them at all.

Umm, I am letting insurance handle it and they already settled it. What did you think I was doing?

If they are not injured there are a crap ton of lawyers that have their own doctors to milk insurance for lots. Sad but true. I know a guy that made enough cash to pay off his house and remodel it. He bragged about all he had to do was see the lawyers doctor, go to unnecessary therapy for a few months then collect a check

I hate hearing stories like this but I guess there are people willing to do anything for a buck. That’s why it’s so hard to make a legitimate claim with an insurance company. The fraud rate is so high.

Blacked out grill and rear emblem. More on the way!

Is it just me, or do these not match up properly with the rest of the body? I'm looking at the pics on their website and there seems to be gaps, plus the lines of the fenders don't match that of the factory bumper and door. ADV fender door.jpg ADV fender bumper.jpg

Definitely tough to install and not plug and play. I actually thought these were after market fibreglass. Fibreglass body parts are really hard to fit.

tough to get lines just right when mounting but if that's not OEM fender, that's a big part of why it looks off. Non-OEM body panels have fit poorly in my limited experiences.

They already settled? Wow, just goes to show they weren't as injured as they claimed to be.
