Hi everyone. This is my first post on here and it's nice to meet you all.

I have been planning & dreaming of purchasing a new model Tacoma for years but after test driving several, I have come to realize that they are not nearly as practical as a 4Runner. After driving my father's 2011 4Runner Limited on several occasions, I'm now completely sold on one.

I have my eye on a 2016 SR5 model with 47K KM on of the odometer (I'm in Canada). It has GPS and satellite radio and is cosmetically in mint condition. It also drives extremely smooth, even more so than my fathers Limited model, which has street tires on it. The price is around 32K Canadian Dollars. Does anyone know if this would be a reasonable deal?

If purchased, I do plan on replacing the wheels and tires with something more aggressive looking that might compliment the overall look of the vehicle, considering it's black. I have been looking the BF Goodrich T/A KO2's and the Replika R213 TRD copies:

Would I need spacers for these wheels? Would I need a lift or is there enough space to run K02's on stock suspension?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looks good. The trim level is SR5 Premium (SR5P), based on softex and heated seats. Looks stock except for floor mats, tires, and vent visors. I can't speak as to local value nor do I know the exchange rate so I'd be guessing on if it's a good deal or not. Any stock size tire including the K02 will fit without a lift, and you can actually probably shoehorn one or two size larger tires on without a lift. Good luck!

    Thanks guys, appreciate your responses!

The dealer doesn't list it as a premium SR5 upgrade nor does it mention having GPS, when it actually does.

I have the alternative option of buying my father's 2011 Limited for a reasonable price and doing upgrades, but it has 210K KM on the odometer. I would need to think whether upgrading it is worthwhile.

Do engines last to 400K KM as I read about?

I like the newer body style (grill headlights) and newer interior (dash etc) over the older ones.
But if Dad took care of it, and the price is right, that might be the way to go.
