I have a 1998 4Runner sr5 4wd , no fender flares and recently purchased a bill stein /toy tech3 inch lift (hasn’t been installed) I want to get wheels and tires but don’t know what set up I can fit without re gearing or trimming, post pics of your 4Runner please.

I’d suggest checking out the 3rd gen build threads.

I have a 98 with a 3" lift, 285/75/16 and I'm not sure on the offset of the wheels. They rub at full lock on an incline with some speed (pulling in and out of steeper driveways). I had to trim the plastic valance and hammer down the pinch weld.
