I have a 2018 premium with 10K, really like it a lot. have had two previously to this one. thinking about trading for a 2020 for the new enhancements.
    Here is the question:
if you could choose any configuration, OEM, which one would you choose? The parameters are: rugged, 4wd, all the extras, smoothest ride and handling on the road, and if need be off road driving but not crazy stuff. Which one would you choose?

Do you want the special offroad terrain controls?

Are you opposed to replacing the stock shocks?

They are controls specifically designed to assist with offroad driving through different types of terrain. They do not compromise street driving.

When you say you want the smoothest ride possible, can you define what that means to you? Do you like the feeling like you're floating on a cloud or do you prefer the feeling of being firmly planted to the road with very little body roll?

What model do you currently have? "Premium" leaves a few different options.

I've got a premium and had a pro. If your not going to touch it the pro has the best on road comfort and is quite capable off-road.
The pro carries ~10k + premium cost over the orp. For ~2k you can add better tires than the pro has and struts/ shocks that will ride better than the pro. You can bank the 8k or build a beast with it.
If I had the cash I would buy a pro and build it as you see fit
    Edit. Saw your last post.
Buy the orp and get better struts and springs. I did that to my 19 orp and it rides slightly firmer than a stock pro and alot less body roll

You should test drive an Off-Road equipped with KDSS. That will keep you firmly planted on the road.

Also see if you can test drive a Pro so you can compare. Pick whichever one you like best!

I traded my 17 Pro for 2020 Pro for the extra upgraded. I prefer the Pro over the others. But everyone has there own opinions. You need to decide what you like best. Good luck.
