My 2001 t4r build

Ok I am trying to put all this together in chronological order from beginning to current so here it goes!

1.) Back in January I started with this: Solid bones, high miles and no flare!

2.) Logically I started on the motor first with new NGK plugs and wires and changed over to synthetic.

After a bunch of cleaning, straightening up and wiping down as I went along. I figured sure while I'm at it, let's throw in a new battery and a 165A high output alternator (for my future system) while I am in there and pow...the end result!

3.)So now it's running solid, no dummy lights on and I can start working on the interior. First off, the tired silver/grey on the dashboard and accent panels had to go!

4. ) TIME TO LIGHT ER UP! BRING IN THE LED LIGHTS!!


Changed out the power ports and added a dual plug USB charger The Voltmeter they sent me was a klunker the replacement meter arrived and so did the interior LED conversion kit.

Added and wired a lighted green rocker switch for the LED accent lights coming at a later time.

5.) FINALLY I CAN START THE EXTERIOR! Starting with cleaning the rims and tires first!

Very happy with how this worked for me!


I found these cool little green hand grenade valve stem covers and I thought the attitude of the truck would look totally badass with these two other accessories!

Wet look tire shine.

Finished late.
Ok, so I'm not here to push any particular products but I am completely impressed with this product here.

$8-$10 and it does what it says it will do, and so much more!
When used as tire shine it sticks around for weeks as opposed to a few days with other products.
I also used it in my engine bay to bring back the "new look" to the plastics under the hood. Just use a small sponge and a paint brush to apply, let soak in for a bit and wipe it down with microfiber cloths.
Bonus info: This product works way better than any "back to black" product that I have ever used before. I used it on my side steps and on the top of the rear bumper. Yep a little slick at first, but deal with it the first time and you will be amazed by how well the colors on the surfaces you treated are restored beautifully and better yet, it hasn't faded at all yet!!

In channel rain guards.
Keyless entry.
Complete set of green LED lights for the rest of the interior.
Working voltmeter.
2in wheel spacers to widen the stance.... very excited about this one!
Eventually a 2in lift and leveling

UPDATE: 2in spacers came in yesterday and let me tell you something. It looks badass!! Here's some pics of my t4r!

Personally I love the look!

Also I started the process of the paint restoration. It's a 3 step process and the results are nothing short of incredible!

No I haven’t. I was actually wanting a usb connected to the radio unit for updates and adding a custom pic to the display. Which come to find out is in the glove compartment. Lol. But that is a great idea of converting the power outlets into usb for charging. I will have to look into that Thanks
