What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

...we got a funny one right here.

 

I greased mine for the first time on my new to me 2012 SR5. Damn tip got stuck on every zirk fitting. Good thing I won't need to do it for a long time.

 

Mine tends to get stuck on the rear u-joint zerk on the front drive shaft. None of the others though.

 

Fell victim to raptor lights

 

If you don’t already know, pull the grease gun all the way to the side and it should pop off. No reason they should be getting stuck

Raptor lights look good. I have mine just did not add them yet. I
Added today my SCS wheels and Falken tires.

Thanks. Did you tap your raptor lights into your fuse box? That is what plan on doing. I was waiting till I got my LP4’s or 6’s bajadesigns to put behind my grill.

 

used an add a fuse tap and plugged it into fuse box on under steering wheel. You can also run it to the fuse box on driver side fuse box under hood. Doesn’t matter. Super easy

Yeh hardest part of installing it with a button is getting a wire through the firewall grommet... it’s a pain... post some pics when you have em installed ... should look sweet !!

 

I will post some pics when I do the install. Not looking forward to removing front bumper but it don’t look hard removing it.

 

Looks really good without the new Pro roof rack

 

Yeah thanks about the Pro roof rack. Did not like it especially when you don’t use it. I like the new wheel setup but I have to take it back to the tire shop. Added new tiresbut have a little wheel shake and pulls to the right a little. Might be the tires I went with or the balance on the wheels.

 

The bumper is not that hard to remove, but I didn’t need to remove mine to install my raptor lights.. maybe yours is different though?

 

I have remove the bumper because of the bajadesigns lights I’m putting behind my grill. I’m just holding off with the raptor lights to do all at once.

Switched out the Hood Bulge Insert to the OEM Black One. Matches good with the Blacked out Fogs and Mirror Signals.

 

Got a little creative with an aftermarket Pro Grill kit. Decided to use the old style lettering from my old Land Cruiser. It's only mocked up for the moment I still need to measure and center it more precisely.

 

Now those letters look so good that’s what Toyota should be using... nice job oh and love that nautical blue... mines been clean now for weeks lol not going anywhere...
