    The same 4Runner everyone has
You can search for them on Amazon or get them directly from Bulb America, that's where I got mine.

Also will put up my Raingler net for sale if you are interested in trying one out for cheaper than new.

Are those Plug & Play now? I thought the first version involved some wiring.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Used it to go get a starter for my 1948 Willys with a transplanted 4 cyl. from a 1977 Pontiac with a Chevy bell housing and flywheel. It was hard to track down one that would fit but finally success!DSCN5487.jpg

I'm due in another 1,000. This will be my first one on a 5th gen. Had the dealer do the first two.

Starting to collect all my materials now. Just got a filter, oil, and have the filter housing wrench on the way.

Weathertech front mat set (which are already muddy) and installed the iPhone holder setup. Found a place for the tow strap & shackles & the pump bottle of home-brew hand sanitizer to live. If things got really bad, I figure we could drink it. it's about 160 proof. Now figuring out where to stash the jumper cables and tool roll. Not many storage nitches and lockers on the Runner. Posted the OEM wheels & tires on Craigslist.
    It's a start.

Ordered a set of Toyo AT II tires from Discount Tire, should be getting them installed on the OEM wheels Monday.
Discount Tire gave me a nice trade-in $$ on the gawd-awful Grandtrek AT20s my 4Runner came with - good riddance.
Been running Michelin winter tires on aftermarket wheels since November but now it's time to swap out the winters.

Trade in? Were they brand new or did they have any miles at all? That's the first time I have heard of DT taking trade in tires? I have 2800 miles on my Bridgestone Duelers that it came with. Did I miss the window?

Talk to your local DT shop. I heard that they did trade-in deals on the interwebz, so I called them up and asked. They wouldn't commit to anything before seeing the tires, so YMMV.

Did a little badge swap today. After taking off the old badges I almost left it naked. I can always take these off too, it was super easy!

Im my area discount will not take trades. Mine had less than 200 miles, no trade allowed. I sold local but found out to late! They are oem size for F150s and those guys don't know the tires suck, I probably could have got 4 to 5 hundred on the ford classifieds

I used a heat gun to soften the glue behind the badges very carefully watching how warm things got. I then took some fishing line wrapped around my fingers and with a sawing motion went behind them to take them off. The remaining glue came off easily with my finger. Then sprayed some De-Solv-It on a microfiber to remove any traces of the remaining glue. Used a light compound to remove a little bit of ghosting and followed that with some wax to restore the finish. It was brutally simple.

Mine was cake. 20 minutes to get it working. Now, tying it up under the dash, patching up my bleeding hands from sharp under-dash metal, making sure the tilt column still tilted and didn’t pinch wires, etc. took a bit longer. :censored:

I definitely like the update 2020 version, a couple months ago you had to spice into a wire which I didn’t want to do. It seems to work well but I’ve only had it in for 2 days, but my neighbor has had his in for a few years now, his son in-law recommended it because it is plug and play. If you’re buying it for your 18 there are good videos online. Since mine was newest version I had to take my glovebox apart to get to a connector behind it. There are some pic online of taking apart an older model glovebox, but none of a 20, having to do it on my own wasn’t bad just took my time to not break anything. In all it took me about an hour and 45 min from start to finish. The hardest part was fishing a wire through the center console and figuring out where to put the wireless module so you can use the app. If you’re going to upgrade you’ll save more money buying it upfront and you won’t have to take apart everything again cause you will if you choose to upgrade later. Wish you the best of luck if you need any help feel free to reach out.

You definitely need to make sure the connections are all the way in. My red connector wasn’t all the way in after connecting it back in.
