Nice, Trident904! Clean and simple. I can see the advantage if you are using a wired control. I have a Warn Evo Vr10s and it has a Bluetooth remote so unless that fails, I don’t need to plug in the wires. It is a tight fit though, but it works.

Mine is wireless also, but I want access should the wireless function decide not to work at some point.

Nice work Brian. I went through hassle of putting mine in a weather proof Carlon electrical box and it was PIA. I like your solution better.

Hahahahaha, my CB isn’t even in the truck anymore. I should probably lose the antenna.

    Looks good! Nice work.

I just mounted mine to the back of the bumper, yesterday. I've got an auxillary battery and plans for an air compressor in place of where you mounted your control box. The only other good location that I could find was between the brake booster and fuse box. There's not a lot of options on the 5th gen runners or at least not a lot of simple and flat real estate for add-ons. I contemplated doing what you did in that location, but then found that under the hidden winch mount and on the backside of the bumper worked well. The internals of the control box are sealed so the occasional submersion won't hurt and it'll be protected from other elements. I then rewired the control plug and will be mounting it in the bumper cover somewhere between the drivers side headlight and the winch. I don't care for having to open the hood during a winching operation because of the precarious situations that usually require a winch and I don't expect to install a brush bar to hold onto on this rig anytime soon.
