Waiting for this stimulus check so I can get new shoes haha. Looking to run 285/70/17 Cooper st Maxx with a toytec 2 inch lift and 1 inch spacers. Hoping for decent clearance, any recommendations or things I should do differently?

I’m assuming you’re going to run a spacer in the rear? I would just spend an extra $150 and get decent lift coils. Seems like you have it setup to hit the dirt so I’d buy something that’ll offer some performance over what you have now.

Good to know, yes I forgot to mention I’m getting coils also. Not 100% on the spacers but that makes sense. Still learning and trying to figure it out ‍♀️

If you’re getting coils in the rear, and new shocks with coils in the front you’ll be solid. Are you getting a full spacer kit front and rear?

Yes I wanted to do front and rear, I’ve read that it will bring it away from the upper control arms a little, didn’t want to have to replace those. Trying to do a minimal lift with max tire with least amount of rub haha

You should clear the UCA without spacers due to the backspacing on those wheels. The spacers would actually cause you to rub more on the fenders.
Good looking runner! It’ll be rad with the lift and tires.

I want a stimulus check, better yet, I want the government to stop stealing so much of our money to begin with, then they wouldn’t need to give it back and call it helping.

We only qualify for the $500 for having a kid and we’ve already decided we’re going to give that money to a childhood friend of my wife. She’s single still living in the small town they grew up in making little money doing early intervention for little kids with learning disabilities. She’s also a foster parent who has been in the process of adopting the little boy she’s had for a few years now, once you adopt, any financial help she got from the state for fostering goes away. She’s currently out of work because of the shutdowns, she needs the $500 a lot more than we do.

Anyways, rant over and back on topic. Pro suspension is nothing special, it’s a mild upgrade over the standard stuff and personally I wouldn’t do spacers just to keep 5 year old Bilstiens. Put the money towards a quality parts that will fit your usage. When you swap it you could take off the Pro stuff and still sell it for a little bit of cash.

Kudos to you for giving your stimulus check to someone in need! I would hope there would be more people willing to postpone pimping their rides to help their families, neighbors, and friends in need.
