What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

whooo boy that’ll buy you a full aftermarket front bumper!!

 

Bit the bullet and installed my Eibach struts & shocks Saturday.

Is this the pro kit?

 

They're the Pro Truck Sport shocks & struts from the Pro Truck kit, but use the oem springs.

 

I say you try it with the stock rear coils at first.

If you think the ride could be better after trying it that way, add some rear Eibach shocks and see if that helps control the rear end.

If it's still too soft in the back, then put some heavier duty coils on.

 

On my 19 I put the eibach rear springs in 1st and didnt have time to do the fronts.
Sure it looked stupid for a day with an inch more lean....but.
The rear springs alone made the truck ride and handle a hell of a lot better. Body roll was about gone and it felt more planted. Highly recommend the rear springs.

 

Anybody have good suggestions on a good online discount Toyota parts supplier or recommendations on a killer aftermarket front bumper??

 

I don’t know what you want to replace, but full or half bumpers look at c4, shrockworks and southern style offroad.

 

I had to get a new front bumper. I was surprised to learn that a color matched oem wasn’t available. They had to paint it at the body shop.

 

I pulled the trigger. Bye bye 4. You were sure fun!

 

Any suggestions for a good Blacked Out Tail light for my 2015? Just ordered the blacked out turn signals for the mirrors and installed some blacked out headlights over the weekend....going for the full look

Looks like yours covers more of the hood. I was thinking of doing my center section from windshield to cowl. Blinded myself driving east the other morning, was never an issue until after i ceramic coated the TuRD.

 

are the hood scoops on the pre 2014 4r's that different? i dont want to order it if so, obviously, but the glare is a pain in the ass and i would love to install one of these.
